Starting the archive

There's a particular kind of forgetting that comes from posting too much, too fast — a photograph, a sentence, a half-thought, and then nothing. The post slides off the bottom of the screen and that's the end of it. I don't want that to be the only place our years live.

So we're keeping this. A page for me, a page for Kayla, and a page for the two of us. Slow on purpose. No metrics, no scrolling river, no algorithm to please. Just the kind of place you might come back to in five years and still find your way around.

I'll write here about whatever I'm thinking about — the projects I'm tinkering with, the books that have stuck, occasional notes from work. Mostly small entries. Some longer ones when the thing earns it.
